How To Create A Participant In Your Hyperledger Fabric Model File (.cto)
Following from the previous tutorial, I'll be showing you how to create a participant in your model file. If you haven't been following along, the model files we will be working with can be downloaded from here. Our first participant will be the motel guest.

Step 1: Create a new model file
We will be naming this new model file "org.five.motel.participant.cto" and the namespace will be "org.five.motel.participant" as shown below.

Step 2: Define participant name and identifier
Now we will need to define the participant name. Rather than start with "asset" we will start with "participant" and follow by "identified by" and an identifier as shown below.

Step 3: Add identifier
We will now need to tell Fabric what type the identifier of our participant is. For most applications, "String" will work fine.

That's it! You have created your first participant. In the next tutorial, I will be showing you how to use concepts to further define our participant.
